- Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations and Political Science from Monash University.
- Commencing as an end to end Executive Recruitment Consultant, Michael then moved into Executive Search where he has successfully built a career over the last ten years. He spent the earlier part of his professional experience recruiting in a diverse number of industry segments, including Professional Services, FMCG, Manufacturing and the Utilities Sector. Over the last three years he has specialised in the areas of Mining, Resources and Engineering.
- Michael’s expertise has been developed as the result of the successful execution of both managerial and technical assignments including: General Managers, CFOs, CIOs, Project Managers, Senior Metallurgical and Geological Managers, Mining Site Managers, Alumina Refinery Site Managers and Manufacturing Managers. He has also been utilised in the undertaking of Board level appointments
- Prior to joining the AAAI Group Michael was the General Manager Research of an international Executive Search firm, where he led a global team in the execution of senior managerial and technical assignments across the resources sector. Notable amongst these was the appointment of the Managing Director of Newcrest Mining. Michael’s hallmark is his ability to source rare candidates for demanding roles – time and again.
