Advertised Search and SelectionAs part of our recruitment process, Advertised Search & Selection is an integral part of our search process to supplement the attraction of candidates who might be passively or actively looking in the marketplace. This traditional method is used effectively to complement search for many senior positions at levels with management responsibility. The process involves an element of market research, the draft of an advertisement in an appropriate media such as press or internet or a combination of both where the applicants are screened, interviewed and a detailed report provided to obtain a strong shortlist.

In some circumstances, a position may require a particular skill set that could be found across a number of industry sectors for example. An extensive database search might produce a shortlist in a short time and advertising will attract many active candidates but not necessarily the ideal candidate for the position. A combination of both Advertised Search and Selection and extensive database search will certainly achieve a far better result overall for our clients when it comes to them making their final choice.
