Our client, a major multinational engineering, consulting and EPCM project deliverer is looking to build on its already impressive track record and further enhance its competitive position by appointing a senior engineering executive with strong business development and marketing skills in the Queensland Roads, Rail and general Transportation Infrastructure field. They are looking for outstanding individuals to take the next step in their careers by becoming the "face" of this major roads and highways team. Directorship of bids and full marketing control as well as management and development of client relationships will be the cornerstones of this dynamic new role.

You are likely to have a Team Leadership, Group Mgt, Project Mgt, or BD responsibility within the transportation, roads and/or rail sector of an engineering or construction company or currently operate at middle management level within a major road or rail authority. You must have both the ability and the motivation to make the move into a larger role with one of the top-tier industry players. Your civil engineering degree will preferably be supported with post graduate qualifications in business/commerce/marketing, and many years of experience in identifying market opportunities, bidding and winning projects, writing and negotiating contracts and developing strong client relationships as well as alliance partnerships with contractors and other consultants, and motivating and mentoring teams of professionals. This is really a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to move into a senior management role with a big say in the strategic direction of our clients' major civil infrastructure business.
